6.4 Active Member Census
The Active Member Census provides a list of active employees with age, gender, age/date of birth, enrollment, and geographic location information. This information is typically required by underwriters that use manual rating systems.
Spouses and other dependents are not included in the report. Fields displayed include:
Member - The employee's name. When private health information is blinded, the participant's internal system identifier is displayed.
Division - Denotes the division of the company the member is employed / covered under.
Plan - The name of the coverage/benefit plan the employee is enrolled under.
Effective - The date the employee began receiving coverage
Age - The employee's age. Hovering over an age shows the employee's date of birth.
Gender - The employee's sex/gender.
DEPS (Number of Dependents) - The number of additional dependents covered under the plan for the employee.
MED (Medical Plan) - The name of the medical plan the employee is enrolled under. When blank, the employee does not have active medical coverage.
Prescription - The name of the prescription plan the employee is enrolled under. When blank, the employee does not have active prescription coverage.
Dental - The name of the dental plan the employee is enrolled under. When blank, the employee does not have active dental coverage.
State - The employee's state of residence.
Zip - The employee's postal/zip code.
