9.1 February 2007
This release includes a variety of changes and enhancements to all areas of the product.
General
Consolidate and move various sources of documentation to online help at doc.plan-watch.com.
Add context sensitive help - the question mark icon at the top right of each screen opens help for the current screen.
Analysis and Reporting
The following changes and enhancements effect Claims Review, Trend Analysis, and the Plan Modeler:
Add support for selecting specific coverage areas (e.g., Medical, Dental, Vision, RX) when running new reports.
Add support for selecting which plans should be included in the analysis on a per coverage area basis. This requires that plan information be included in file extracts.
Add support for selecting multiple divisions within a group when running a new report. To select a range of divisions, select the first division, hold the Shift key, and select the last division. To select multiple divisions individually, hold Control key while clicking.
Add an option to display group and division codes to all new report screens. Clicking show codes enables the display of group numbers and sorts the lists accordingly.
Display claim counts instead of charge counts everywhere charge counts were previously being displayed.
Change the default time period for each report type. New Claims Review reports and Plan Models default to the first day of the most recent plan year through the date of the last paid claim; new Trend Analysis reports default to the first day of the oldest plan year through the date of the last paid claim.
Claims Review
- Fix issue on Member Age Group Analysis - The # Current field was displaying the total number of claimants that incurred charges throughout the time period. The value was corrected to show the number of active members on the last day of the time period.
Plan Modeler
Fix issue in Summary Comparison Report - the change numbers on the PDF version of the report were opposite of the web report. The PDF version was corrected.
Use the term "Actual Plan" instead of "Current Plan" to refer to actual amounts on all comparison reports. The term "Current Plan" was sometimes confused as "the plan currently being modeled."
Removed the Discount slice from comparison pie charts. It's impossible for the modeled plan to effect the discount so including the discount amount in the graph is of questionable value.
