This release includes initial support for exporting reports to Microsoft Excel™ format as well as a variety of defect fixes and miscellaneous enhancements. Excel support is meant to provide a data export capability and does not include graphs or other visual aesthetics provided with web and PDF reports.
Individual report sections and any drill-down screen may be exported in Excel format by clicking the small Excel icon located at the top right of all report screens.
An entire report may be exported to Excel with each section on a separate worksheet by using the
Export All Sections to Excellink located off to the right side of all reports.Added an option for running reports with or without voided claims. This feature is enabled for all clients that transmit a void date field as part of the claims extract.
Simplified paging on provider related reports. There is now a single option to display all providers located directly beneath the table. This replaces the previous use of page numbers.
The Planwatch logo has been added to the footer of all PDF report exports.
The
Member Age Group AnalysisandMember Age/Relationship Detailsections of Claims Review now display the total amount paid by the plan.Added a note that the Age displayed on claim detail screens is based on the date of service of the claim and not the present date. The claim detail screen is typically accessed by drilling all the way down to the claim level from a report.
Plan Modeler: added
Ineligible ChargesandDiscountfields to PDF export of Plan Model comparison. The values were displayed on the web reports but not on the PDF.Plan Modeler: added support for specifying alternative benefit settings when a maximum is reached. This makes it possible to specify that a benefit should be covered at a certain percentage up to a maximum and then to remain covered but with a different percentage. Frequent uses include preventive benefits that are covered at 100% up to a maximum and then fall back to the normal plan settings instead of becoming ineligible.
The default settings when a maximum is reached is for all charges to be adjudicated as not covered by the plan.
Fixed a defect effecting all reports that included a
# CURRENT(Number of Currently Enrolled Members). The value displayed in these fields included members that may not have yet become effective.Fixed a defect occurring when a deducible setting is set to
Noneand deductible carry-over is enabled. The adjudication process would fail and display an error.
