1.2 System Requirements
Planwatch is a fully web-based application and is supported on a range of browsers and operating systems. The following general requirements
A modern web browser such as Internet Explorer 6.0+, Firefox 1.0+, Safari 2.0+, etc. (see verified supported browser information below).
The browser must have JavaScript enabled. This is the default configuration in all browsers mentioned. (See Enabling JavaScript in IE 6.x for troubleshooting IE).
A PDF Reader, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, is required to view print versions of reports. The web-based reports are fully functional, however.
NOTE: Planwatch does not currently rely on external browser plugins such as *Java*, *Active X*, or *Flash*.
Verified Web Browsers
Each Planwatch release is tested on the following browsers:
- Mozilla Firefox 2.0
- Microsoft® Internet Explorer 6 (with latest service pack).
- Microsoft® Internet Explorer 7 (with latest service pack).
- Apple Safari 2.0
Support is guaranteed on these platforms.
Verified Operating Systems
- Microsoft® Windows 98, 2000, XP, Vista.
- Apple MacOS X.
- Various Linux based operating systems including Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, RHEL, and SuSE.
